USAFA Parents’ Association of Los Angeles County and Surrounding Areas
The USAFA Parents' Association of Los Angeles County (UPALAC) is a membership group of parents and guardians of Air Force Academy Cadets serving the Greater Los Angeles Area (including the following counties: Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Kern, SLO, and Ventura). Our mission is to support parents and guardians of cadets and appointees during their years at the Academy with news, education, meetings, social events, and more!
Who can join? Los Angeles and surrounding area families with a USAFA Cadet or USAFA-based Prep Schooler (Preppie).

We share your enormous sense of pride, and understand the concern of sending your young adult into such a unique environment. All of us have gone through the same experience. We may have an answer to the questions that you might not have found elsewhere. We will explain the barrage of info you’ll get from the Academy and sift out the most critical info for you to know about your cadet’s class year events. Join us today!
As a member, you will learn more about cadet life from other parents and have a chance to participate in uplifting cadet spirit!
